How pairing works⌄

Place both AirPods — your current one and this replacement — into the charging case.
Charge the case for at least 10–15 minutes.
With your iPhone or iPad unlocked and nearby, open the case lid. A setup card appears on-screen.
Tap Connect and follow the prompts. If the card does not appear, close the lid, wait 30 seconds, then reopen it near your device.

Need a full reset? (button-free case) Put both AirPods in the case, close the lid for 20 seconds, then open it. Double-tap the front of the case — the status light flashes white. Double-tap again — it flashes amber. Double-tap a third time — it flashes white again and the reset is complete. Then hold the case near your iPhone and follow the setup prompts.
